The Motley Fool's Anand Chokkavelu wrote an article about how to choose the best stocks.
He said the two most important factors in picking the best stocks were to know how great a company is and how much the market is charging for that greatness.
Chokkavelu said that one of the biggest mistakes investors often make, is to just focus on how great a company is without looking at the premium they must pay to invest in the company.
It sounds simple enough but Chokkavelu's strategy is to buy great companies at great prices.
Some companies he listed that met his criteria were Visa Inc. (NYSE: V), Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX), Costco Wholesale Corp. (Nasdaq: COST) and Graco (NYSE: GGG).
