Investor Optimism Growing

Jordan Kotick of Barclays Capital said in a morning note: “An equity market downside correction was a consensus call for Q1, but as we edge closer to the end of March, what is most striking is how well the asset class is doing globally... it would appear that underlying investor optimism is growing.”
Despite recent data showing a drop in consumer sentiment, investor optimism seems to be growing. The record rise in eurozone industrial production despite the recent troubles with Greece and fresh 17 month highs in the U.S. markets on Thursday are further bolstering investor sentiment.
