UAL Corp. Continues To Soar (UAUA)

Shares of UAL Corporation (NASDAQ: UAUA), parent of United Airlines, are surging to a fresh 52-week high today.

Shares of the airline up $0.38, or 1.98%, to $19.55, which is a new 52-week high. This new high is happening despite the fact that oil is racing to $82 a barrel. Higher oil prices usually translate into higher jet fuel prices for airlines unless the company has effectively hedged its costs.

Over the last 52 weeks shares of UAL have traded between $3.07 and $19.55.
