Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watch for Monday October 4, 2010.

With oil trading above $81 a barrel during the Asian trading session, the following ETFs look like appealing plays on Monday: ProShares Ultra Oil & Gas (NYSE: DIG), ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Crude Oil (NYSE: UCO) and the U.S. Oil Fund (NYSE: USO).

Keep an eye on the Market Vectors Coal ETF (NYSE: KOL) as it approaches round-number resistance at $40.

The Market Vectors Steel ETF (NYSE: SLK) is another one to watch.

Emerging markets plays for the day: Market Vectors Russia ETF (NYSE: RSX), WisdomTree India Earnings ETF (NYSE: EPI) and the Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bull 3X Shares (NYSE: EDC).

Forex play of the day: ProShares UltraShort Yen (NYSE: YCS).
