InvestCloud's Asset Management Platform Is The Next-Generation Excel Spreadsheet

The 2017 Benzinga Global Fintech Awards saw some of the most innovative companies in fintech show off their products to high-profile financial executives and fintech leaders.

The Company:

InvestCloud is an online platform that creates interactive digital experiences for institutional investors managing portfolios with multiple asset classes. The company’s product suite is designed to give asset managers a visual representation of alternative investments and analytics on their portfolio performance.

At the 2017 Benzinga Global Fintech Awards, InvestCloud’s Head of Product for Digital Warehousing Jennie Wang explained that the company’s goal is to upgrade the traditional methods of tracking portfolios, such as Excel spreadsheets, to a visual digital interface.

The Pitch:

InvestCloud’s Navy app allows traders and investors to evaluate statistics for the performance of specific asset classes within their portfolios. The Navy dashboard uses an interactive “canvas” that contains different applications to configure structured and unstructured content for traders and investors.

Navy contains several onboard apps that display different types of charts and data visualizations for asset managers. The app also enables investors to easily pull out data points like TVPI, multiples, and a number of GIPS-compliant analytics for each asset class within their portfolios.

The Future:

At the 2017 Benzinga Global Fintech Awards, Wang noted that many of the company’s endowment fund, foundation and pension fund clients benefit from investing on InvestCloud’s alternative investment management platform because of its multi-device functionality and visualization tools

“InvestCloud can provide a better solution for you for investment management because we can create interactive digital experiences,” Wang said. “This is configurability, this is flexibility, and sophisticated investors need this type of trading.”
