Ryan Craver was recently a guest on #PreMarket Prep, a daily trading idea radio show hosted by Joel Elconin and Dennis Dick. Tune in to the daily broadcast live Monday-Friday at 8 a.m. ET here.

Retail Expert and Lamour Group Senior Vice President Ryan Craver talked about Childrens Place Inc PLCE on the show.

Craver said that things had been “rough” for the retailer especially in juniors and kids segments, however, the company would be banking back-to-school sales.

“Back-to-school is already starting to hit the store shelves in Childrens Place,” Craver noted.

“I think a lot of it will determine what we see out of the May and June sales...hopefully, a lot of that shifts back to the specialty [retailers] like Childrens Place.”

Craver added that the company was well positioned due to its more than 1000 store count and private labels that account for approximately 95 percent of store products.

Craver concluded the company would do well during back-to-school sales but may struggle until then.

Childrens Place Inc recently traded at $67.37, down 0.69 percent.
