Benzinga's Top ETF Gainers, February 9th

VelocityShares Daily 2x VIX Short Term ETN (NYSEARCA: TVIX) continued to trade higher on Thursday. TVIX spiked 9.86%, and this was the third consecutive trading session that it closed higher.

Claymore/MAC Global Solar Index (ETF) (NYSEARCA: TAN) gained 8.05%, and it closed at $3.76. In the solar space, First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) jumped 7.02%, and Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE: TSL) skyrocketed 18.63%.

Direxion Daily Tech Bull 3x Shares (ETF) (NYSEARCA: TYH) added 2.81% as Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) gained 3.46%, and Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) spiked 10.51%.

ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Natural Gas (NYSEARCA: BOIL) traded 2.43% higher today, along with natural gas futures. At one point of today's trading session, natural gas futures contract for March delivery came close to $2.60, on hopes of new output cuts.
