Benzinga's Top ETF Decliners, January 17th (BOIL, EDZ, NUGT, SCO)

ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Natural Gas (NYSEAMEX: BOIL) led the decliners among the ETFs on Tuesday with a 11.15% loss. Natural gas prices are struggling because of the high inventories caused by mild winter and new gas finds.

Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bear 3x Shares(ETF) (NYSEARCA: EDZ) lost 5.49% today, and it closed at $16.52. Vale (ADR) (NYSE: VALE), a component of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, jumped 5.40%.

Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bull 3X Shares (NYSEARCA: NUGT) dropped 4.78% as Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM) slipped 3.86%, and Kinross Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE: KGC) plunged 18.81%.

ProShares UltraShort DJ-UBS Crude Oil ETF (NYSEARCA: SCO) closed 3.23% lower today as crude oil traded higher on better than expected economic data from China.
