Benzinga's Top ETF Decliners, January 13th (BOIL, SOXL, TAN, NUGT)
ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Natural Gas (NYSEAMEX: BOIL) led the decliners among the ETFs on Friday, with a loss of 6.64%. This was the fifth consecutive trading session that BOIL traded lower.
Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (NYSEARCA: SOXL) lost 6.52% today, and in the space, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) dropped 2.37%. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) slipped 2.75%, and it closed at $5.66.
Claymore/MAC Global Solar Index (ETF) (NYSEARCA: TAN) traded 5.13% lower on Friday as First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) lost 4.02%, and Trina Solar Limited (ADR) (NYSE: TSL) plunged 7.27%.
Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bull 3X Shares (NYSEARCA: NUGT) dropped 3.70% today, and it closed at $22.40. In the space, Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE: ABX) fell 0.96%, and Goldcorp Inc. (USA) (NYSE: GG) slipped 1.24%.
