DPK is trying to replicate investments results of 300% of the inverse of the price performance of the MSCI EAFE Index, which includes equity markets of developed countries without U.S. and Canada. TOTAL S.A. (ADR) (NYSE: TOT) is a component of the MSCI EAFE Index, and it dropped 4.75%.
Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3X Shares (NYSE: SOXS) traded higher for the second day in a row. It gained 12.40%, as KLA-Tencor Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC) dropped 5.25%, and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) lost 4.98%.
Direxion Small Cap Bear 3X Shares (ETF) (NYSE: TZA) spiked 11.47% on the weakness in the Russell 2000 Index. Russell 2000 fell 4.02% today along with Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLXP) and Tibco Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX). Salix (SLXP) fell 5.03% and Tibco (TIBX) dropped 4.42%.
