China Infrastructure ETF To Begin Trading On Wednesday

The Emerging Global Shares INDXX China Infrastructure Index Fund will begin trading on Wednesday February 17, 2010 under the ticker "CHXX."

The underlying index CHXX will track contains equities from 30 emerging markets, but CHXX will invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities of Chinese mid cap companies included.

CHXX is part of a group of six new ETFs planned by Emerging Global Shares. There are two other infrastructure ETFs planned for Brazil and India and the issuer is planning mid-cap specific ETFs for Brazil, China and India.

Constituents in CHXX must have a minimum market cap of $200 million. The ETF will have an expense ratio of 0.85%.
