Philippines ETF On The Way From iShares

Share

One Asian nation that has been somewhat conspicuous by its absence from the world of ETFs is the Philippines, but that may changing as iShares has announced plans for the iShares MSCI Philippines Investable Market Index Fund.

The new ETF will track an index that holds 28 equities focusing on utilities, telecommunications and financials.

iShares isn't the only ETF issuer with plans for a Phillipines ETF. Global X previously announced intentions for a similar product.
