Direxion Daily Energy Bear 3X Shares(ETF) (NYSE: ERY) is down 4.19% as Russell 1000 Energy Index trades in the positive territory. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) gained the most among the components of the Russell 1000 Energy Index, with 3.7% increase in price.
FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index is also doing well today which is bad for ProShares UltraShort FTSE/Xinhua China 25 (NYSE: FXP). This emerging market bear ETF fell 3.65% today as China Mobile (NYSE: CHL) added 2.3%.
Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bear 3x Shares(ETF) (NYSE: EDZ) is another emerging market ETF that struggles today. This one is 3.04% down and it follows MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
ProShares UltraShort Basic Materls (ETF) (NYSE: SMN) lost 3.3% as Dow Jones U.S. Basic Materials Index has a good trading session. Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD) is one of the components that did very well today. It jumped approximately 3.5%.
