The market bounced after three gloomy days and bull ETFs are trading in the positive territory again.
Russell 1000 Energy Index helped Direxion Daily Energy Bull 3X Shares(ETF) (NYSE: ERX) to jump 4.2% today. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) is the biggest gainer among the Russell 1000 Energy components with 3.9% increase in price. Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: OXY) is also doing well with a gain of 2.80%, while Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) added 2.64% so far. Schlumberger Limited (NYSE: SLB) trades are 1.6% up and ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) gained 0.83%.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) is trading 2.8% up today which is good for ProShares Ultra Semiconductors (ETF) (NYSE: USD) because Intel (INTC) makes 35% of the Dow Jones U.S. Semiconductors Index holdings, which the USD follows. The USD is trading up 3.67% today, and another semiconductor company, Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) is also doing well with a 2.47% increase in price. Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) is 1.19% up, while Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ: BRCM) gained 2% so far.
ProShares Ultra Basic Materials (ETF) (NYSE: UYM) is 3.27% up as stocks like The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE: FCX), E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company (NYSE: DD) and Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) are trading in the positive territory. Dow Chemical (DOW) is 2.74% up, Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) gained 1.5%, while DuPont (DD) and Praxair (PX) added 1.26% and 2.16% respectively.
ProSharesUltra DJ-AIG Crude Oil (NYSE: UCO) added 3.15% as the Dow Jones-AIG Crude Oil Sub-Index is doing well.
