SPDR S&P 500 (ETF) (NYSE: SPY) was the most actively traded ETF today, with a volume of $147.79M. SPDR S&P 500 (ETF) (SPY) closed 1.27% up as S&P 500 gained 1.36%.

PowerShares QQQ Trust, Series 1 (ETF) (NASDAQ: QQQQ) was right behind with $91.55M made. QQQQ added 1.61% as NASDAQ-100 index closed 1.62% up.

Financial Select Sector SPDR (ETF) (NYSE: XLF) had a volume of $74.09M. XLF closed 1.44% up at $14.81, on a successful day for a financial sector. On the other hand Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares(ETF) (NYSE: FAZ) proved to be a wrong bet for today. It had a volume $61.30M and it lost 3.90%.

MSCI Emerging Markets Index moved iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index (ETF) (NYSE: EEM) higher on the volume of $62.39M. EEM gained 2.09% today.
