It was not wise to short semiconductors today. ProShares UltraShort Semiconductors(ETF) (NYSE: SSG) lost 2.79% as Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) added 1.71%.
PowerShares DB Gold Double Long ETN (NYSE: DGP) is trading down 1.78% along with gold, that lost approximately 1% today.
