Trading commodity futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You should carefully consider whether trading is suitable for you in light of your circumstances, knowledge and financial resources.

Sugar #11 futures rallied today (6/28) as the U.S. dollar index declined. This move higher gives me a buy signal for October sugar on the daily chart. This is the fourth buy signal sugar has suggested to me since the end of May and comes after a few sessions of consolidation. Sugar is also giving me a buy signal on the monthly chart this month (June). It looks as if sugar may be positioning to make a run at recent highs put in at the beginning of the year around the 34-36 range.
