Metals Higher, Palladium Leading (SLV, GLD, JJC, PALL, PLTM)
The metals market is higher today, along with equities, as risky assets are being bought on news the Greeks may receive another bailout.
Copper is up 2.15 cents to trade at $4.2075, a gain of 0.5%.
Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF (NYSE: JJC) is up 32 cents to $55.46, a gain of 0.6%.
Silver is up 41 cents to $38.51, a gain of just over 1%, as it tries to regain the $40 an ounce mark.
Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF (NYSE: SLV) are up 52 cents this morning, to trade at $37.55, a gain of 1.55%.
Gold is up $2.80 an ounce to $1,538.10, a gain of 0.1%.
Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF (NYSE: GLD) are up 18 cents to $149.88.
Platinum is up $32.`0 an ounce, trading at $1,832.10, a gain of 1.8%, as it crosses the $1,800 an ounce mark again.
The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index (NASDAQ: PLTM) is up 36 cents this morning to trade at $30.45, a gain of 1.2%.
Palladium is up $16.40 an ounce today, trading at $775.90, as it looks like it will break $800 an ounce.
Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares (NASDAQ: PALL) are sharply higher today, up $2.02 to $77.37, a gain of 1.7%.
