Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watch for Thursday May 26, 2011.

While most sector ETFs were up Wednesday, the Guggenheim Global Solar Energy ETF (NYSE: TAN) and the JPMorgan Alerian MLP Index ETN (NYSE: AMJ) both failed to impress.

Oil plays: Oil Services HOLDRs (AMEX: OIH) and the ProShares Ultra DJ-UBS Crude Oil (NYSE: UCO).

The iPath DJ-UBS Sugar TR Sub-Index ETN (NYSE: SGG) had a decent day on Wednesday.

Emerging markets plays of the day: iShares MSCI South Korea Index Fund (NYSE: EWY), ProShares UltraShort MSCI Emerging Markets (NYSE: EEV) and the Market Vectors Colombia ETF (NYSE: COLX).

Forex play: CurrencyShares British Pound Sterling Trust (NYSE: FXB).

Bond play of the day: WisdomTree Emerging Markets Local Debt ETF (NYSE: ELD).
