Amazon Extends Christmas Offers to Entire Digital Archive - Analyst Blog

Amazon.com (AMZN) ushered in the Christmas week with exciting offers across its digital archive—Amazon Appstore, Amazon Music, Amazon Instant Video, Kindle Books, and on a few Amazon devices.

These deals are now available and some of them will be extended through the end of December. Customers can get discounts ranging from 50%-85% on digital content.

From 24th to 26th December, Amazon Appstore will offer a number of paid apps and games for free under Amazon's largest-ever "Free App of the Day" bundle, with savings of up to $220.

Amazon Instant Video is also offering up to 50% discount on holiday and kids' movies and TV shows till Christmas.

Amazon Prime members will be allowed to access a free playlist of holiday music via Amazon Music. On Christmas, while shopping, non-Prime users on Amazon.com will also be able to listen to a select list of free holiday songs.

Popular Kindle books from best-selling authors will be offered at amazing discounts of up to 85% from Christmas through Jan. 1.

For a limited time, customers are also eligible to get steep discounts on Fire TV, the Fire HD 7 tablet, the Kindle e-reader and Kindle Paperwhite devices.

Customers can also gift friends and family digital content. Kindle books can also be gifted, provided the recipient has an email address. The receiver will be able to read the Kindle book on any compatible Fire or Kindle device or free Kindle reading app.

According to Custora, U.S. e-commerce orders in the first two weeks of December increased 16.5% year over year.
