After Hours Stock News: JP Morgan Cyber Attack and Radio Shack Buyout - Analyst Blog

The markets were slightly negative today across the board with Dow Jones down 42.44 points at 17,079. The Nasdaq was down by 11 points at 4,559. Finally the S&P 500 is down 3 point at 1,996. 

JP Morgan hit by cyber attack

 The banking giant confirmed they have been a victim of a cyber-attack compromising customer data. JP Morgan (JPM) and other US banks have been victim to several cyber-attacks this month by hackers. Were Russian motives at work? 

RadioShack shares jump

Radio Shack (RSH) shares are up nearly 40% to $1.52 a share due to rumors of a possible cash infusion by Standard General. Read more about the potential RadioShack Buyout

McDonald's faces more issues in Russia

Susser and Energy Transfer partners announced approval of merger

Susser Holdings Corporation (SUSS) stockholders voted to approve their merger with Energy Transfer Partners (ETP). The merger will be completed tomorrow, August 29, 2014.
