Metals Dropping, Palladium Crashing (SLV, GLD, JJC, PALL, PLTM)
The metals market is all lower this morning, echoing the results in the equities market.
Copper is down 3.2 cents this morning, trading at $4.1755, a loss of 0.76%.
Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF (NYSE: JJC) is down 75 cents to $55.37.
Silver is flat at $35.94, but had been as high as $36.50 an ounce earlier in the session.
Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF (NYSE: SLV) are up 6 cents this morning, to trade at $35.09, a loss of .17%.
Gold is up $4.90 an ounce to $1,426.70, a gain of 0.34% this morning.
Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF (NYSE: GLD) are up 82 cents to $139.04, a gain of 0.6%.
Platinum is getting smacked, down $23.20 an ounce, trading at $1,758.20, a loss of 1.2%.
The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index (NASDAQ: PLTM) is down 46 cents this morning to trade at $31.41, a loss of over 1%.
Palladium is plunging today, down $17.45 an ounce, a loss of 2.3%. Last trade was at $748.05.
Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares (NASDAQ: PALL) are weaker, down 77 cents to trade at $74.49.
