Share price in Northrop Grumman took a bit of a dive earlier in the week, falling little over 4 percent in the course of a trading day. Prior to that, the defense contractor was riding high on the post-election rally. However, President-elect Donald Trump's off-the-cuff tweets regarding Boeing Co BA have thrown some question on the longevity of many government contractors.

At 2 p.m. on December 9, the stock was languishing around $237.60.
