EP Energy No Longer A Sell, Vetr Top Raters Say

Shares of EP Energy Corp EPE have had a strong year, boasting returns of more than 30 percent. In fact, over the past month alone, the stock gained more than 40 percent.

Even though such a surge has certainly eaten up room for upside, top raters at the Vetr community decided to upgrade their rating on the independent E&P company’s stock from 2.5 Stars (Sell) to 3.0 Stars (Hold) - out of a possible 5.0 Stars rating.

On the other hand, it should be noted that 55 percent of the crowd's ratings are bearish, and that their price target of $5.66 implies an downside potential of almost 2 percent from current valuations.
