Analysts at JP Morgan upgraded Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) from “neutral” to “overweight.” The target price for Applied Materials has been raised from $19 to $30.

Applied Materials shares have jumped 49.87% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 21.67% in the same period.

Applied Materials' shares gained 1.97% to $23.26 in pre-market trading.
