Citi Updates on Auto Sector, 7/12/11

Citi made a number of updates on companies in the auto sector in a research report published today.

BorgWarner (NYSE: BWA) had its rating reiterated at Hold. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $83. On Monday, BWA lost 1.53% of its value to finish the day at $78.96.

Ford (NYSE: F) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $18. On Monday, Ford lost 4.03% of its value to end the day at $13.32. Its shares continued to slide in today's pre-market trading, falling 1.05% to stand around $13.18.

General Motors (NYSE: GM) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $48. On Monday, General Motors lost 2.63% of its value to finish the day $30.75. Its shares continued to shed value in today's pre-market trading, falling 0.33% to trade around $30.65.

Goodyear (NYSE: GT) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $22. On Monday, GT lost 2.61% of its value to end the day at $16.78.

Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) had its rating reiterated at Hold. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $43. On Monday, JCI lost 2.85% of its value to close the day at $41.26. Its shares continued to slide in today's pre-market trading, falling 0.87% to trade around $40.90.

Lear (NYSE: LEA) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $64. On Monday, Lear lost 1.83% of its value to end the day at $53.22.

Magna International (NYSE: MGA) had its rating reiterated at Hold. At the same time, its price target was raised from $56 to $57. On Monday, Magna lost 2.69% of its value to finish the day at $50.60.

Meritor (NYSE: MTOR) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $20. On Monday, Meritor lost 4.66% of its value to end the day at $16.16.

Tower International (NYSE: TOWR) had its rating reiterated at Buy. At the same time, its price target was maintained at $22. On Monday, TOWR lost 0.45% of its value to close the day at $17.63.
