William Blair Initiates Coverage On El Pollo LoCo

In a report released Tuesday, William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia initiated coverage on El Pollo LoCo LOCO with an Outperform rating.

Analysts at William Blair believe El Pollo LoCo will benefit from consumers demand for healthier meals with its "5 Under-500 Calories" menu, preference for fresh items on the company's made-to-order menu items and increase popularity of chicken and Mexican cuisine domestically.

William Blair projects high- to single-digit sales growth for El Pollo LoCo, including an 8 to 10 percent projection by 2016.
