Stifel Nicolaus Lowers Estimates On NYSE Euronext, Reiterates Buy Rating (NYX)
Analysts from Stifel Nicolaus said that they are lowering their earnings estimates slightly for NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX) to reflect March volume trends. They lowered their 1Q10 EPS estimate by $0.01 to $0.55 (vs. consensus of $0.53). The firm reiterated their BUY recommendation on the shares and $36 price target.
In recommending the stock, Stifel analysts wrote that "although the NYX shares have performed well over the last several weeks (+14.3% in April vs. S&P 500 +4.1%) we expect gradually improving top line and better fixed cost discipline to drive earnings upside, especially in 2011."
During the current trading session, NYX has gained 2.42% to $34.64. NYSE Euronext is a global operator of financial markets and provider of trading strategies.
