Aerospace & Defense Industry Update (LLL, BA, RTN, SPR, ESL)

Analysts Troy Lahr and Joseph DeNardi at Stifel Nicolaus have released an update on the Aerospace & Defense industry. Analysts have raised the price target for Boeing Company (NYSE: BA), Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LLL), Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPR), Esterline Technologies Corporation (NYSE: ESL).
The price target for Boeing has been raised from $68 to $77. Analysts have raised the price target due to an improved outlook for commercial aerospace and a healthier defense business at the company.
Raytheon’s price target has been raised from $61 to $65. Analysts have raised the price target to reflect a better outlook for defense spending over the next few years.
The price target for L-3 Communications has been raised from $98 to $108. The new price target reflects greater confidence in defense spending for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
Spirit AeroSystems’ price target has been raised from $26 to $28.
The price target for Esterline Technologies Corporation has been raised to $55.
