According to the report published Friday, the analysts expect the company to report $1.87 EPS for 2Q16, which is lower than the consensus of $1.89.
The analysts forecast Capital One to benefit from the additional $300 million share repurchase authorization, half of which they expect in the second quarter of this year, a relatively stable net interest margin and continued strong loan growth. "We look forward to its outlook on loan growth, expenses, asset quality, and capital priorities for the remainder of the year," said Barclays.
The analysts currently have an Overweight rating on the company with an $87 price target. At time of writing, Capital One was up 4.52 percent on the day, trading at $64.68.
