Investors were given a glimpse by B. Riley researchers into what to expect from Methode Electronics, Inc MEI's fourth quarter earnings to be released Thursday before the bell.
B. Riley expects a quarter that was in line with consensus estimates, but cautioned guidance for fiscal year 2017 is likely to be light. Legal expenses, Dabir investments, and non-auto margins are “wildcards” that could heavily impact how the market reads the release.
B. Riley calls Methode one of its favorite long-term ideas. Methode has had EPS surprises in four of its last five earnings releases.
Methode shares traded at $28.36 Tuesday just before the close, down 2.38 percent.
