Apple Inc. AAPL is scheduled to host its annual Worldwide Developer Conference on June 13-17, in San Francisco. RBC Capital’s Amit Daryanani maintained an Outperform rating on the company, with a price target of $120.

“We expect Siri to be at center stage this year, along with extensive OS upgrades and potential Macbook Pro refresh,” Daryanani mentioned.

The analyst expects Apple to showcase Siri SDK at the conference, for third party developers to expand Siri’s use cases, while laying the foundation for a WiFi-enabled personal assistant.

Daryanani also expects a significant redesign of Apple Music’s interface, “with bigger focus on streaming service, expanded radio options and lesser focus on “connect” features.”

Thirdly, the analyst stated that Apple was expected to release updated operating systems across its various device platforms, including iOS 10, OS X10, tvOS and watch OS 3.0.

Macbook Pro is also likely to get a refresh, with a new design, a lighter and thinner chassis and touch screen buttons.

Although there have been speculations regarding the release of Apple Watch 2, Daryanani believes this is unlikely at present.

Focus On Siri

“We expect a more robust integration of various OS’s across AAPL’s ecosystem, with Siri taking the center stage in terms of integration,” according to the RBC Capital report.

Daryanani expects some discussion regarding the integration of VocaIIQ to make Siri more context aware, while also possibly laying the groundwork for Apple to launch a more comprehensive AI-powered personal assistant device.

This device could either be a standalone product or integrated into existing hardware, such as Apple TV.
