AMC Networks Q4 Earnings Preview

AMC Networks Inc AMCX was scheduled to report Q4 earnings ahead of the market open on Thursday.

The Street expected revenue to come in at $602.42 million with EPS of $0.99.

The consensus for Q1 included revenue of $651.38 million and EPS of $1.46.

For the current full year, the Street expected revenue of $2.51 billion and EPS of $4.53.

Albert Fried & Co recently commented on AMC and liked its "strong earnings growth potential, better performance from Originals, and great emerging opportunities."

Nomura also took a bullish position and upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy in January. Analyst Anthony DiClemente estimated EPS for FY 2015 in a range from $4.55 to $4.58.

Over the past three months, the stock has gained 8.35 percent with much of the growth coming from mid-January through late February.

Ahead of its earning release, AMC Networks Inc closed at $69.17 Wednesday, down 0.67 percent.
