Argus Research Analyst: 3G Capital Could Do A Lot With PepsiCo, Campbell

Speaking to Benzinga, Argus Research analyst John Staszak said that there is a lot Brazil-based 3G Capital could do with PepsiCo, Inc. PEP.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that 3G Capital is considering acquiring food and beverage companies, including PepsiCo.

Staszak pointed out that 3G Capital could spin-off PepsiCo’s chip unit, Frito-Lay.

He also said that Campbell Soup Company CPB would make a suitable choice as well, because the company has made some good acquisitions in recent years.

PepsiCo is up more than 2.5 percent, while Campbell is trading almost 4.6 percent higher.
