Speaking to Benzinga, Dinsmore Capital Management Executive Vice President James Dinsmore said that it will be very interesting to go through earnings for NQ Mobile Inc NQ when they are released later Thursday.

“I’m not necessarily bullish, but I think there’s potential to be some value in the convertibles,” he said.

Dinsmore Capital is a top 10 shareholder in NQ Mobile.

He said it’s been an unfortunate turn of events for those who are long in the stock since Muddy Waters has bringing attention to it.

“He seems to have been wrong on a few of his points,” Dinsmore started. “There might be some truth to some of his points, but we’ll see.”

He said the company has had a number of press releases talking about different deals it has done, but he’s not sure what it can do to make the co-CEO’s resignation any better.

“That’s a tough thing to see even if they give you the excuse of it was not related to the company,” he said.

To gain investor confidence back, Dinsmore said that seeing the earnings numbers will be a step in the right direction.

“The numbers today should be fun to look over,” he said.
