Finish Line FINL saw healthy trends as athletic footwear and apparel momentum appeared to have been “very healthy” heading in to the Holiday season.
VF Corp VFC saw several of its key brands standing out including Timberland boots that "far outperformed" expectation, North Face that "appears to be performing well" and a "strong performance" at Vans stores.
Michael Kors KORS products were described as a “powerhouse” with strong sell-thrus at both full-price stores and within Macy's M shop-in-shops.
Dick's Sporting Goods DKS appeared to be un-promotional in key seasonal categories among hot selling Nike NKE apparel along with North Face and Columbia brands. In fact, the analyst labeled Dick's Sporting Goods along with Nike as “top athletic picks.”
