Prior to the company's third quarter earnings report scheduled for Tuesday, Wunderlich analyst Rommel Dionisio provided some insight as to how he feels Harley-Davidson Inc HOG performed during the quarter.
As Dionisio believes there are two factors that may have limited upside potential for Harley-Davidson's third quarter results, he has maintained a Hold rating and $57 price target.
What are these factors for concern? First, Dionisio is worried the recent appreciation of the U.S. dollar will put pressure of the company given its U.S. production and 35 percent of sales coming from outside the United States. Second, he said competition has stepped up its game for the 2015 model year.
For the quarter, Dionisio is predicting $1.18 billion in revenue with an EPS of $0.59. Looking ahead, he expects Harley-Davidson to bring in $5.6 billion in revenue for the full-year, with and an EPS of $3.77.
