Following the release of its second quarter earnings on Friday, analysts have started to publish reports on Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE: SPR).

Canaccord Genuity - Buy, $43
The analysts at Canaccord noted that Spirit posted "strong" results in the second quarter, beating the firm's EPS estimate of $0.68 by $0.33.

"We believe Spirit will continue to benefit from its exposure to the cycle, steady risk reduction, and limited defense exposure."

Deutsche Bank - Hold, $40
Analysts noted that, on the back of better sales, taxes, share count and, most of all, margins the company has raised its EPS and free cash flow guidance. As such, they have raised their 2014 and 2015 EPS estimates from $2.96 and $3.17 to $3.15 and $3.33, respectively.
