UPDATE: Wunderlich Securities Initiates Coverage On Viper Energy

In a research note released Monday, Wunderlich Securities analyst Abhishek Sinha initiated coverage on Viper Energy Partners LP VNOM with a Buy rating and a $41 price target.

The analyst likes the company as its business model differs and has “Unparalleled growth potential in the oil-rich core of northern Midland Basin.”

In addition, the company has multi-year drilling inventory and is said to have more to come.

Shares of the company are down less than one percent.
