Shares of Facebook
FB are sliding again, down 4.4 percent to $59.96 in the face of some bullish comments from FBR Capital.
Analyst William Bird believes the company hold a strong and unique competitive position based on a proprietary survey conducted alongside Clear Voice Research.
The survey revealed 81 percent of Facebook users visit the social network at least once per month, against only 37 percent for Twitter users, said the analyst.
Even more impressive, 51 percent of respondents said they were willing to pay $10 or more annually to replace current mobile voice plans with WhatsApp. Also, the number of Facebook users who also use WhatsApp was low, Bird said.
