The Toro Company’s (TTC) First-Quarter Preview
Analysts James C. Lucas and Michael J. Wherley at Janney Capital Markets have released a report previewing the first-quarter at The Toro Company (NYSE: TTC). The company will report results for the first-quarter tomorrow.
Analysts expect the company to report EPS of $0.18 for the quarter, which is below the consensus estimate of $0.21. Seasonally, the fourth-quarter is the company’s slowest period. However, analysts believe that the vast amount of snowfall early in the year has led to some increased manufacturing of snow throwers, which should have a positive impact on the margins.
According to analysts, the key thing to note tomorrow will be the company’s commentary about the second-quarter earnings expectations as the spring selling season is important.
Analysts at Janney Capital Markets continue to rate The Toro Company as a Neutral, with a fair value estimate of $43 for the company’s stock.
