In a report published Thursday, Barrington Research analyst Kevin M. Steinke initiated coverage on Huron Consulting Group HURN with an Outperform rating and $53.00 price target.

In the report, Barrington Research noted, “We are initiating coverage of Huron Consulting Group with an OUTPERFORM investment rating. Operating primarily in the U.S., Huron provides operational and financial consulting services through more than 1,500 full-time consultants that help clients improve growth and performance, reduce costs, navigate the regulatory environment, recover from financial distress, and utilize technology. Huron's services are focused into four consulting segments—Healthcare, Education and Life Sciences, Legal, and Financial. The company's clients include hospitals, universities, large and midsized businesses, law firms, and government. Demand within each of these segments is strong—particularly healthcare and higher education, which combined account for approximately two-thirds of total revenue. These two sectors are experiencing market and regulatory pressures that are driving long-term demand for Huron's services.”

Huron Consulting Group closed on Wednesday at $46.66.
