Hewlett-Packard Company’s (HPQ) First-Quarter Preview

Analysts at SIG Susquehanna have released a report previewing the first-quarter of FY10 at Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ). The company will report earnings for the first-quarter on February 17.
Analysts expect the company to post strong results due to improving trends in PCs, servers, and printing. Analysts have raised their estimates for the first-quarter of FY10.
Analysts have raised the revenue estimate from $29.8 billion to $30.2 billion. The EPS estimate has been raised from $1.04 to $1.06. Analysts believe that there could be an additional upside from operational efficiencies.
Analysts at SIG Susquehanna continue to rate Hewlett-Packard as a Positive, with a price target of $58.
