Munster Notes Strong Traffic at Apple Store on Black Friday, Says Shoppers Not Receptive to Microsoft Surface
Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster just discussed his assessment of Mall of America traffic during Black Friday.
The analyst said about 1,100 shoppers per hour walked into the Apple store, more than double that of the store directly across.
Munster noted interest in the Microsoft surface, but said over a two-hour span not one person bought a Surface tablet. When Munster asked shoppers why they didn't like buy a Surface, the average response was along the lines of "it's just another PC..."
