Goldman Sachs raised its rating on Evercore Partners
EVR from Sell to Neutral and increased its price target from $22 to $28.
Goldman Sachs said, "We are upgrading shares of EVR to Neutral from Sell, as we believe Street estimates now more accurately reflect the firm's near-term growth profile (2013 consensus EPS is down 20% since Jun-12), now more inline with GS estimates. Moreover, management highlighted improving backlogs that are yet to show up in public domain, creating an upward bias to expectations."
Evercore Partners closed at $27.49 on Friday.
