Are These the Analysts That Will Cover Facebook?
Earlier, Wedbush initiated coverage of Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) with an Outperform rating and a $44 price target. While all the major research firms are likely to cover the much hyped tech IPO, what specific analysts should investors expect to be covering the company? Here are a few possibilities:
Gene Munster, Piper Jaffray

Munster is known for covering Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) but he also covers the internet giants Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) as well as Chinese internet company Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU).
Douglas Anmuth, JP Morgan

Anmuth is JP Morgan's Internet analyst covering LinkedIn (NASDAQ: LNKD), Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), and Zynga (NASDAQ: ZNGA). He has Overweight ratings on all three names.
Heath Terry, Goldman Sachs

Terry covers WebMD (NASDAQ: WBMD), Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE) and eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) among other Internet names.
Herman Leung, Susquehanna

Leung covers most of the Internet names for Susquehanna (Google, LinkedIn, Yahoo!) as well priceline (NASDAQ: PCLN) and Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN).
Colin Gillis, BGC Partners

Gillis covers Amazon, Apple, Google, and Yahoo. Facebook could soon be added to the list.
