Although Brazilian farm groups may not be able to see eye-to-eye on the monetary value of Monsanto's
MON soy beans, Morgan Stanley reported, they do not believe it will have any effect.
Morgan Stanley concluded, “We do not believe Brazilian litigation on Intacta soybeans represents a material risk to either the product or the company's earnings. To be clear, Intacta soybeans in Brazil represent about $0.01 of our current F2013 $4 EPS estimate.”
Morgan Stanley maintains its Overweight rating and $90 PT as the market closed yesterday at $76.59.
