Ladenburg Thalmann Publishes Report on Water Utility Sector
In its report, Ladenburg Thalmann writes, “Yesterday afternoon, the Judge presiding over the California Water Utility Cost of Capital Proceeding placed on hold the all-party settlement that was reached in late October. The Settlement, between the California water utility subsidiaries of AWK, AWR, CWT, and SJW, and the Division of Ratepayer Advocate called for a uniform 9.99% return on equity, and an increase in the equity portion of each utility's capital structure for the period 2012-2014.”
