Collins Stewart Publishes Report on Black Friday

In its report, Collins Stewart writes, “On November 25th (Black Friday), we conducted our annual walkthrough of major electronics retailers (20 stores including Best Buy, Walmart and Target). As anticipated, we observed aggressive discounting on LCD TVs and Blu-ray (BD) players. In general, our observations revealed that doorbuster promotional LCD TVs sold-through extremely well including a Sharp 42” LCD TV ($200) at Best Buy (BBY), a 32” Emerson LCD TV ($188) and a 40" Emerson LCD ($248) at Walmart (WMT).”
