Brean Murray Carret Reiterates Hold Rating on Human Genome Sciences

Brean Murray Carret is out with a research report this afternoon, where it reiterates its Hold rating on Human Genome Sciences (NASDAQ: HGSI); it does not have a price target on the stock.
The BMC analysts cited the company's recent announcement that Syncria missed its primary endpoint in the Harmony 7 study. The analysts noted that Syncria is not a major favor in their valuation of the name, but that it could add some incremental value if it was ever commercialized.
Human Genome Sciences, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company. The company's products are BENLYSTA for systemic lupus erythematosus and raxibacumab for inhalation anthrax. GlaxoSmithKline is a HGS partner in the co-development and commercialization of BENLYSTA.
